Being back home
It’s funny how when you come home and are at your parents house you automatically regress back to a college kid. Or maybe it’s a guy thing. Though I use the term regress loosely since I don’t think guys ever stop being college kids.

it happens to me too..(i’m assuming you mean a lazy tv-watching sack by “college kid”) I also got into a fight which included door-slamming when at my parent’s house. It’s like I can’t escape that dynamic there….ever.

I totally regress when I’m at my mom’s house. It always weirds me out, but it happens nonetheless.

Yes that’s what I meant. Things like sleeping in till noon, eating bowls of cereal at 1am, etc.
I have a younger brother which I am VERY close to who is 21 (I also have a sister a few years younger). He was back for college. For example on Thanksgiving we didn’t have to be anywhere until 4pm. So my brother and I slept until about 11am, then woke up, heated up a a small microwave pizza, then while still in PJ bottoms and sweatshirts, chilled in his room watching TV and playing video games until about 3pm when we had to start getting ready.

It definitely doesn’t weird me out. In fact it’d probably weird me out not too. Though it helps feel normal since my younger 21 yr old brother (we are super tight) is around and the difference mentally between a 21 yr old guy and a 31 yr old guy is like more like 1 year in guy years,lol
